Job summary

PT Transisi Mobile Indonesia seeks an experienced Café Operations Manager in Bali to oversee daily cafe operations, lead a diverse team, and ensure exceptional coffee and service quality.

You will manage schedules, monitor sales and costs, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare operational and financial reports. English is essential for international guests; Arabic is a plus. Based in Bali with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in café, coffee shop, or F&B store management, preferably in Bali or tourism.
• Experience with international brands is highly preferred; premium F&B brands a plus.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and café operations, from bean preparation and brewing to final product delivery.
• SCA certification or other recognized coffee certifications is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of team management, with experience managing a team of at least 5 employees.
• Good English communication skills for serving and communicating with international customers.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Good understanding of Halal certification processes, BPOM food safety regulations, and basic Indonesian labor regulations.
• Strong financial awareness to analyze sales data, operational costs, and business performance.
• Able to independently prepare operational and financial reports.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Culturally aware and comfortable working with customers and employees from diverse backgrounds.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic and multitasking F&B environment.
• Willing to be based in Bali, Indonesia and travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall daily operations of the coffee shop for smooth business performance.
• Lead and supervise cafe team: scheduling, task allocation, performance coaching.
• Ensure high standards of coffee prep, food & beverage quality, service, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Oversee end-to-end coffee making, ensure recipes, SOPs, and quality standards are followed.
• Monitor sales, revenue, expenses, inventory, and other operational metrics.
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports and provide insights.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, stock levels, and wastage to optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with BPOM, Halal, and basic Indonesian labor regulations.
• Maintain welcoming, inclusive environment for local and international customers.
• Support promotional activities to increase traffic and sales.
• Work effectively in fast-paced retail and F&B environment.
• Travel to Bali region as required.
