Job summary

PISON Group in Bali is seeking a friendly Barista to join our Front of House team. You will prepare and serve quality coffee and beverages, maintain bar cleanliness, and ensure a smooth guest experience.

Ideal candidates have basic coffee knowledge, good English communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, bartender, waiter/waitress, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service.
• Familiarity with espresso machines and coffee-making techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages per recipes and standards.
• Operate espresso machines and grinders properly.
• Prepare espresso-based drinks such as latte, cappuccino, americano, and specialty drinks.
• Assist with bar setup: beans, milk, syrups, garnishes, glassware, equipment.
• Take beverage orders accurately and serve promptly and professionally.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization; monitor stock levels and replenish supplies.

Job description

PISON Group is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Barista to join our Front of House team in Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee and beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards

Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage equipment properly

Prepare espresso-based beverages such as espresso, americano, latte, cappuccino, and other specialty drinks

Assist with daily bar setup, including preparing coffee beans, milk, syrups, garnishes, glassware, and equipment

Take beverage orders accurately and serve drinks promptly and professionally

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations

Replenish coffee beans, milk, ingredients, ice, cups, and other beverage supplies as needed

Assist in monitoring stock levels and inform supervisors when supplies are running low

Ensure beverages are prepared and presented consistently according to company standards

Follow proper food, beverage, hygiene, and safety standards at all times

Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Assist in handling guest requests and provide friendly and professional service

Support the Front of House team with other operational duties when required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Barista, Bartender, Waiter/Waitress, or in a hospitality role is an advantage

Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service

Familiarity with espresso machines and basic coffee-making techniques

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Strong teamwork and time management skills

Ability to remain calm and attentive during busy service periods

Willingness to learn and follow company beverage, service, and safety standards

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for delivering excellent guest experiences

Basic English communication skills are preferred
