Job summary

PT. Rena Haniem Mulia is recruiting for an R&D Coating position in Indonesia. You will develop and test coating formulations for industrial, decorative, or specialty applications, focusing on performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

You will conduct adhesion, durability, gloss, and chemical resistance tests, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and collaborate with the sales team and customers to provide technical data and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Hands-on lab skills: formulation, mixing, and testing.
• Familiarity with coating raw materials (resins, pigments, solvents, additives).
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross functional teams.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience in coatings are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new coating products (industrial, decorative, or specialty).
• Optimize existing formulations for performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
• Conduct laboratory tests on adhesion, durability, gloss, hardness, and chemical resistance.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.
• Provide technical data and product recommendations to sales and customers.
