Job summary

PT. Asia Chemical Industry in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Paint Formulation Specialist to develop and create new products in line with quality targets.

You will design paint formulations for multiple applications, monitor research against market trends, troubleshoot in lab, production, and client sites, ensure testing compliance, and prepare monthly reports. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience in paints/coatings, a background in chemical engineering or chemistry, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical/industrial engineering or chemistry.
• 5+ years of experience in related field, especially in paint/coatings sectors.
• Prefer supervisor/assistant manager experience in chemistry or related field.
• Experience in making paint formulations for various applications, development and new product creation.
• Wide supplier network in chemicals is a plus.
• Familiar with market trends in paint and coating industries.

Responsibilities

• Developing and creating new product in accordance with the quality and target set up.
• Arranging, monitoring and controlling the research of paint product by following the market trend.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting of any problems that accurs in lab, production and client's site
• Ensuring all required process and testing have been conducted and complied with the standard and regulation
• Making and updating monthly report

Job description

* Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Chemistry or equivalent.

* Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia

* At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, especially in Metal, Plastic, Wood, Intumescent, Automotive Coating, Polyurethane (PU) Base, and Stoving.

* Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office

* Preferably Supervisor / Assistant Manager specialized in Chemistry or equivalent.

* Have the ability and knowledge of MAKING PAINT FORMULATION for all application purpose both in develop or create new product.

* Have wide connection with chemical Supplier will be a plus

* Familiar and follow the market trend of paint and coating
