Job summary

Honest in Jakarta leads risk management for a fintech that issues consumer credit cards in Indonesia. The senior role reports to the board, owning risk across credit, market, liquidity, and other key areas while interacting with regulators and lending partners.

You will build the risk appetite, develop systems to catch issues early, and lead a culture of risk awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Real experience running risk management inside a regulated financial institution.
Working knowledge of OJK and Bank Indonesia rules for finance companies and credit card issuers.
Track record building risk frameworks, not just maintaining ones built by others.
Comfortable representing the company to regulators and lenders.
Fluent English; experience across markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own risk management across all eight risk types required by OJK.
Write and maintain risk appetite, risk limits, and contingency plan; secure board sign-off yearly.
Run the risk function independently from business and report to the board.
Represent Honest to regulators, lenders, and partners on risk matters.
Review new products and underwriting changes for risk exposure.
Build reporting giving leadership a clear read on risk position.
Build a risk-aware culture through training and plain communication.
