Job summary

AsetKu is seeking a seasoned Risk Management Leader to shape and govern the company’s risk framework in Indonesia. You will set risk appetite, oversee the risk team, and ensure strong controls across lending operations.

You will collaborate with Legal and Compliance, monitor portfolio risk, AML and data privacy compliance, and drive data‑driven decisions to protect the business and customers. Experience: 10+ years in risk management within financial services with a proven record of implementing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Risk Management within financial services or banking.
• Solid knowledge of risk management principles, credit risk management, and financial institution processes.
• Strong understanding of OJK regulations and other applicable regulations, particularly those related to P2P Lending and financial services.
• AFPI Risk Management Certification Level 5 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s overall risk management strategy.
• Lead, oversee, and provide strategic direction to the Risk Management team to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance.
• Establish the company’s risk appetite and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the development and implementation of credit risk models, including credit assessment, borrower verification, and loan default prediction.
• Analyze borrower behaviour, payment patterns, and portfolio performance to support data‑driven risk decisions.
• Identify operational risks related to lending activities, including fraud, data security, and operational inefficiencies.
• Ensure robust internal controls and processes to prevent fraud and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies related to liquidity, investments, and market volatility.
• Ensure the company complies with AML and data privacy laws.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to address regulatory changes and concerns.
• Provide regular reporting on risk metrics, strategies, and outcomes.
• Build a strong risk awareness culture across the organization and train employees on risk management best practices.
