Job summary

Goldenagri is seeking a procurement professional to support indirect procurement activities, develop RFQs, and assess supplier proposals. The role involves analyzing spend, market dynamics, and price trends to support budgeting and procurement planning.

You will assist in negotiations, input technical evaluations, and generate procurement insights from secondary sources to aid execution. A 2–3 year track record in the field is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in Indirect Procurement/Purchasing, focusing on HSE, Services.
• Ability to understand the Business Unit's operating environment and apply procurement processes accordingly.
• Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and analyze internal factors such as spend and customer requirements, as well as external market dynamics and product/services trends.
• Assist in development of RFQ templates, request supplier participation, and consolidate RFQ responses.
• Input supplier technical responses into the qualitative assessment model and ensure complete technical scoring for supplier evaluations.
• Support Tender Committee during negotiation by consolidating new supplier quotations and communicating results.
• Generate and submit draft contracts to relevant Category Managers.
• Research market prices for new requirements to support Procurement budgeting cycles.
• Produce ad-hoc procurement insights using secondary sources and external subscriptions to support planning and execution.

Job Description Summary:

By working in cooperation with Category Manager , support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, through research and analysis, as well as the procurement intelligence enhancement, through external market studies

Job Description:

• Collect data and conduct analysis on internal factors such as spend and customer requirements, as well as external factors such as industry and market dynamics, and product/services trends
• Assist in the development of Request for Quotation (RFQ) to collect supplier information, including confirming supplier's participation, sending RFQ template, and consolidating RFQ responses from suppliers
• Input technical responses from supplier to qualitative assessment model and check completeness of technical scoring as part of supplier proposal evaluation process
• Support Tender Committee during negotiation phase by consolidating new quotation from suppliers and informing negotiation result to suppliers
• Generate and submit contract draft to relevant Category Managers
• Conduct research on market price for new requirements in support of Procurement Budgeting cycle
• Generate ad-hoc Procurement insights in accordance with reporting requirements to support Procurement planning and execution by conducting research with secondary sources and external subscription material

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Industrial) or Mechanical.
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience as Indirect Procurement/Purchasing specially handling HSE, Services
• Proactively gain understanding of the Business Unit's operating environment and apply awareness of the operational goals and objectives when implementing Procurement processes or initiatives
• Strong analytical thinking.
