Key responsibilities

• Processing patient payments, including cash, card, and digital payment methods with accuracy and efficiency
• Managing and reconciling cash registers and payment records at the beginning and end of each shift
• Issuing invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations to patients and their families
• Handling billing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues in a professional manner
• Recording and reporting daily financial transactions in the hospital's accounting system
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient financial information in accordance with hospital policies and regulations
• Assisting patients with understanding billing statements and payment procedures
• Collaborating with administrative and medical staff to ensure accurate billing information

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a cashier or in a similar financial transactions role, ideally in a healthcare or hospital setting

• Strong mathematical and numerical accuracy skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle financial records meticulously
• Professional communication skills and a patient, courteous demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting daily financial closing deadlines
• Knowledge of Indonesian Rupiah currency handling and local payment methods is advantageous
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
