Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a cashier or similar in healthcare is preferred.
• Proficient with cash registers, POS systems, and basic accounting software.
• Strong mathematical and numerical accuracy skills.
• Attention to detail with meticulous financial record-keeping.
• Professional communication and courteous interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Reliable and punctual with daily closing deadlines.
• Knowledge of Rupiah handling and local payment methods is advantageous.
• Basic computer literacy and MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Process patient payments accurately via cash, card, and digital methods.
• Manage cash registers and reconcile records at the start and end of each shift.
• Issue invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations to patients.
• Handle billing inquiries and resolve payment-related issues professionally.
• Record and report daily financial transactions in the hospital accounting system.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient financial information.
• Assist patients in understanding billing statements and procedures.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate billing information.
• Follow hospital financial protocols and security procedures to prevent fraud and errors.
• Process refunds and payment adjustments as authorised.
