Job summary

PT Ombak Asin Bali is seeking a Café Manager to lead our Bali café, guiding a small team and delivering a premium experience for customers at our Uluwatu opening. You will work closely with the SALTED founders to ensure exceptional coffee, food and service standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing coffee and beverage quality, supplier and stock management, cost control, and smooth operations as the café scales.

Qualifications

• Has at least 2 years' experience in café management or a senior hospitality leadership role.
• Has strong barista knowledge and an understanding of specialty coffee.
• Is confident managing a team, rosters, suppliers and stock.
• Has experience with café costing, inventory and POS systems.

Job description

As Café Manager, you'll be responsible for running our café, leading a small team and creating an exceptional experience for every customer. Our café will open from 6:30am, catering to early-morning surfers, locals and visitors enjoying Uluwatu's coastal lifestyle. You'll work closely with the SALTED founders to establish a café known for beautiful coffee, quality matcha, fresh food and welcoming service.

Key responsibilities

Maintain high standards across coffee, matcha, signature drinks and food presentation.

Oversee ordering, supplier relationships, stock control and inventory.

Manage food costs, wastage and operational efficiency.

Maintain cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards.

Monitor sales performance and report regularly to the founders.

Help develop systems, procedures and service standards ahead of opening.

Work collaboratively with the retail and wellness teams to create a seamless SALTED Collective experience.

About you
