Job summary

SIGMATECH is seeking a data migration specialist to move the semantic model from Cloudera and Fabric to Google Cloud Platform, ensuring data validity against reference data and reports. The role emphasizes accuracy and documentation.

Ideal candidates will have strong T-SQL skills, Big Data familiarity, and proven analytical abilities, with excellent communication and multitasking in cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Transact-SQL (SELECT, FROM, WHERE, GROUP BY, HAVING, JOINs)
• Familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Big Data concepts
• Ability to create simple technical documentation
• Strong attention to data validity across sources and reports
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Hardworking with multitasking capability

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing semantic model from Cloudera/Fabric to GCP
• Ensure data validity from migrated semantic model with comparative data

b. Solid knowledge and understanding of Transact-SQL Basic -> Query language (Select, From, Where Group by, Having), Join, Basic Logic (case, when)

c. Familiar with GCP and Big Data

d. Create simple technical doc

e. Attention to detail: Accuracy in ensuring data validity between sources (databases) and reports (dashboards).

f. High analytical and problem-solving skills

3. Interpersonal and Communication skills

a. Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that include internal team.

b. Hardworking and having multitasking capability
