PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer L2 for a contract role in Central Jakarta. You will design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, compliant operations. You will collaborate with developers and admins to optimize deployments and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in DevOps, strong cloud and container skills, IaC experience, and English proficiency for international teams. Certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in DevOps/Cloud infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Solid Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Understanding networking, DNS, and security in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English for international teams.
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, CKAD/CKA, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud performance.
• Implement containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer L2 to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH), a leading technology company specialising in software engineering and cloud solutions. This is a contract position based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer L2, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure whilst ensuring seamless deployment pipelines and operational excellence. This role is critical to our mission of delivering robust, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions to our clients. You will work collaboratively with development teams, system administrators, and stakeholders to optimise our cloud environments and contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues in cloud environments
• Implement and maintain containerisation solutions using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise application deployment and scalability
• Establish and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance protocols
• Document infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members on cloud and DevOps technologies
• Conduct regular system audits and recommend improvements for reliability, performance, and cost optimisation

What we're looking for

3-5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud infrastructure role

Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Demonstrated expertise in containerisation technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes

Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles and experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and shell scripting

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Go

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, or CloudWatch

Understanding of networking, DNS, and security principles in cloud environments

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for communication with international teams and stakeholders

Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Kubernetes (CKAD or CKA), or similar cloud certification

Preferred: Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing platforms
