Job summary

BINUS University in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Business Development professional to oversee daily BD operations, collaborate with internal departments, and drive new opportunities. You will review markets, forecast revenue and growth, and manage relationships with key partners and investors.

The role requires a Bachelor degree and 4+ years in BD or startups, with strong communication, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities to deliver high-impact projects and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective day-to-day operational activity in Business Development.
• Collaborate with BINUS University departments for BD programs and services.
• Coordinate cooperation and collaboration to support BD activities.
• Review and explore market opportunities through meetings and networking.
• Create development and business plans, forecasting revenue / sales targets, and growth projections.
• Develop financial projections, investment proposals, and reports for BoM and investors.
• Maintain and build positive relationships with existing and potential key partners and clients.
• Design presentation materials and participate in meetings with internal and external partners.
• Explore and find fundings to develop new businesses, from BINUS or external investors.
• Identify business opportunities and assess candidate companies based on potential impact.
• Set-up team arrangement or build the team for approved new businesses.
• Work on implementation of the approved new business, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery.
• Deal with a variety of ad hoc issues related to Business Development.

• Coordinate effective cooperation and collaboration to support activities in Business Development

Management Support Activities:

• Provide Report to direct Supervisor

• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)

• Perform activities related to Quality Management System

• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Education Requirement :

• Minimum Bachelor Degree

Work Exposure/ Experience :

• Minimum 2 years in Senior Staff level position, or

• Minimum 4 years of working experience

• Experience working in Business development and/or in startups, or

• Experience or proven ability in developing product and/or marketing strategies
