ECCO Tannery Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Business Controller to join our Sidoarjo team. The role partners with operations to provide cost data, performance insights, and financial analysis across the business.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in business controlling or data roles, solid data management and analysis skills, and proficiency in Power BI and SQL, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and Business English.

• Proven data management and data analysis skills with Power BI and SQL in manufacturing environments
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in Business English

Responsabilités

• Reconcile raw material consumption, inventory and production waste

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an accomplished Business Controller to join our team in Sidoarjo business unit.

This role is responsible to work closely with various core of business operation to providing critical business performance insight for our management. The key function of this role must be familiar with data analysis to providing cost data, business trends, and analysis financially.

The great fit candidate for this position is strong analytical, problem solving skill, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large amounts of data with knowledge of Lean Management or Six Sigma would be an advantage.

Your role will be including, but not limited to :

• Provide costing and business performance analysis and reporting
• Monitor business performance trends, risk and opportunities
• Reconcile raw material consumption, inventory and production waste
• Support regular internal audit, including stock counts and verifications
• Work closely with stakeholder to provide relevant business insight

The Ideal candidate :

• Bring over 3 years experience in Business Controlling / Process Engineer / Data Engineer or any similar role and supported by relevant educational background in Industrial Engineering / Chemical Engineering or any related discipline
• Proven experiences in data management and data analysis with proficiency tools such as Power BI and SQL in manufacturing with fast paced and dynamic environment
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in business acumen with ability to translate data into business insight
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in Business English

ECCO is a leading footwear company with the reputation as the manufacturer of high‑quality, comfortable, state‑of‑the‑art footwear. Established in 1963 in Denmark, ECCO has been operating in many parts of the world to deliver the highest quality footwear products to be closer to the customers. With strong financial support and good management, ECCO is ready to become a leader in the footwear industry.

ECCO Indonesia was established as ECCO’s first Asian based factory in 1990. The main purpose was supply of uppers to ECCO’s montage units in Denmark and Portugal.

With the installation of the first injection machine in 2004 ECCO Indonesia started montage production on own uppers, but most uppers were still exported for montage in Europe. In 2004, ECCO Indonesia exported more than 5 million uppers. Since production was expanded year by year, more space and capacity was needed. In 2007 ECCO Indonesia bought the neighbouring factory. The entire production was reorganised so that the Upper Factory (uppers for export) moved into the new building and the Shoe Factory (uppers and montage of full shoes) continued in the original buildings. In 2011, 2 additional injection machines were installed and in 2012 Upper factory III was opened.

Today, the production of full shoes accounts for 70 % of the total production in ECCO Indonesia. In addition to producing casual Mens and Ladies styles, ECCO Indonesia is specialized in production of Kids shoes and sandals. The factory is located in Sidoarjo on the eastern side of Java Island.
