Job summary

Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Program Officer to oversee community development initiatives in Bogor, West Java. You will lead strategic planning, implement projects, and engage stakeholders to deliver impact in local communities.

The role requires strong project management, knowledge of participatory development, and the ability to monitor outcomes, prepare reports, and guide teams toward sustainable change in Bogor and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Development Studies or related field.
• At least 5 years of program management experience, preferably in community development or international aid.
• Proven track record of project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of participatory approaches and community-based development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in Bogor or similar urban/peri-urban environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage community development programs according to project plans and objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies within target communities.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local government, and partner organizations.
• Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Manage program budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Facilitate community meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure programs are implemented in a culturally sensitive and sustainable manner.
• Contribute to development of new program proposals and strategies.
