Job summary

PT Nobel Riggindo Samudra in Batam is seeking a full-time Sales Engineer to provide technical support during the sales process, crafting tailored technical solutions, preparing proposals, and delivering product demonstrations.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Batam's industrial and port ecosystem, a strong network with shipyards and logistics players, and the ability to identify opportunities, visit clients, and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in preparing proposals, presentations and technical consultations.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and communicative English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new clients and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and industrial stakeholders.
• Introduce company products and solutions to prospective clients.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Provide technical support during sales process, including proposal preparation and product presentation.
• Conduct negotiation, follow up quotation, PO, delivery, and payment process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and post-sales support.
• Understand Batam industrial and port ecosystem to support business development.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain sales reports and customer database.
