Job summary

Goffee IKN is seeking a Barista to craft coffee and non-coffee beverages and light foods in line with SOPs. You will greet customers, take orders, and suggest menu items while maintaining a clean work station and assisting with opening/closing duties.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to service quality. Training and ongoing development are provided to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in barista or food service roles.
• Ability to prepare and serve both coffee and non-coffee beverages.
• Comfort with handling cash and POS systems.
• Familiarity with SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages (coffee and non-coffee) and light food according to SOP.
• Provide friendly and fast customer service: greet, take orders, and recommend menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, coffee machines, bar, equipment and dining spaces.
• Conduct daily stock checks of raw materials and outlet supplies.
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and correctly.
• Receive payments and operate the cash register system.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth operations and report issues to supervisor.
• Participate in regular training and service quality improvement activities.
• Assist with outlet opening/closing and daily sales reconciliation.

A Barista role at Goffee IKN, responsible for preparing and serving coffee and non-coffee beverages (hot and cold) as well as light food in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages (hot and cold) and light food according to SOP
• Provide friendly and fast customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and providing menu recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including coffee machines, bar, equipment, and dining areas
• Conduct daily stock checks of raw materials and outlet supplies
• Operate coffee machines and other supporting equipment correctly and safely
• Receive customer payments in cash and non-cash forms and operate the cash register system
• Work collaboratively in a team to ensure smooth and efficient operationsReport operational issues or customer complaints to direct supervisor
• Participate in regular training and service quality improvement activities
• Assist with outlet opening and closing preparations, including light inventory and daily sales reconciliation
