Job summary

318 Group in Yogyakarta is recruiting a barista to prepare and serve coffee to SOP and taste standards. You will operate espresso machines, grinders, and other bar equipment while keeping the bar area clean and inviting.

You will welcome customers, explain the menu, make recommendations, and handle cash/POS transactions with accuracy. The role requires teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff and a strong hospitality mindset to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Min SMA/SMK or equivalent education.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a barista (preferred).
• Understanding of coffee fundamentals (roast profile, extraction, milk steaming) is a plus.
• Friendly, communicative, and well-groomed appearance.
• Able to work shift systems, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong hospitality mindset - prioritise customer satisfaction and comfort.
• Able to work both in a team and independently with speed and attention to detail.
