Job summary

Fontaine Vitale, a new healthcare clinic in Bali, seeks an experienced HR leader to build and run all HR functions for a pre-opening and ongoing clinic operations. You will implement payroll, recruitment, employee administration, and regulatory compliance in a lean environment, collaborating with the Clinical Director and Board.

The role requires strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law, health worker licensing, and HR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with payroll and HR administration in Indonesia.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, wellness or service-oriented businesses is advantageous; knowledge of health worker licensing (STR, SIP) is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of Indonesian employment laws, payroll practices, statutory contributions and employee taxation.
• Experience with recruitment and employment administration for local and expatriate personnel is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with payroll or HR management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all HR functions for a pre-opening and operating clinic, including payroll administration, recruitment, employee records, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop HR systems, processes and policies from ground up in a lean environment.
• Coordinate with Finance on payroll payments, tax deductions and payroll reporting.
• Plan and execute end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical staff including onboarding.
• Ensure staff licensing documentation (STR, SIP) is verified prior to offers.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts and HR documentation.
• Oversee HR policies, employee performance, welfare and training initiatives.
• Maintain staff data privacy in line with applicable data protection regulations.
• Manage staff rosters, attendance, leave, probation, renewals and resignations.
• Ensure clinic licence staff sections and related documentation are complete and up to date.
• Support HR and administrative services, including coordination with external providers.
