Job summary

MatchaTalent partners with a luxury real estate and hospitality developer in Bali, Indonesia, to hire an HRBP Director who will shape the HR function and partner with the Founder/CEO.

You will develop governance, ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, lead employee relations, and drive organizational development and scalable HR processes in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Psychology, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience including senior leadership roles.
• Experience with real estate, property development, hospitality, construction, or project-based industries preferred.
• Experience working with executive leadership, founders, or C-level stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, employment regulations, and HR compliance.
• Hands-on experience in employment contracts, employee relations, and HR governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on people strategy and organizational planning.
• Develop HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and long-term growth.
• Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and HR risks.
• Build and strengthen the HR function to support expansion.
• Develop HR governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and employee regulations.
• Standardize HR processes and best practices across the organization.
• Establish accountability structures and performance management systems.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.
• Monitor regulatory updates and provide management with recommendations.
• Lead employee relations, disciplinary actions, and organizational change management.
• Review and standardize employment agreements and documentation.
• Develop employment frameworks for different levels and roles.
• Design and implement performance management systems and KPIs.
• Support leadership in defining organizational structures.
