Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an HRBP Director to lead the HR function in Bali, Indonesia, reporting to the Founder/CEO, and partnering with executive leadership to develop governance, compliance, and transformative people strategies.

The role requires 8+ years in HR, including 5+ years in senior leadership, with hands-on execution in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial setting across real estate or related industries, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HR experience with 5+ years in senior HR leadership roles.
• Experience in real estate, property development, hospitality, construction, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership, founders, or C-level stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, employment regulations, and HR compliance.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on people strategy and organizational planning.
• Develop HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and long-term growth.
• Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and risk mitigation.
• Build and strengthen HR governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and employee regulations.
• Standardize HR processes and best practices across the organization.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.
• Lead employee relations, disciplinary actions, restructuring, and organizational change management.
• Review and standardize employment agreements and other employment documentation.
• Develop employment frameworks for various levels and ensure documentation meets standards.
