Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (HR Governance & Compliance) based in Bali, Indonesia, with a hybrid work arrangement. This role reports to the Founder and will standardize HR frameworks, policies, and contracts while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective employee relations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in strategic HR leadership, and strong English skills to engage with international stakeholders and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years HR experience with 5+ years in HRBP or strategic HR leadership.
• Experience in real estate/hospitality/investment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law and HR governance.
• Experience creating Company Regulations, PKWT/PKWTT, and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR governance frameworks, policies, and internal procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and HR best practices.
• Standardize contracts, HR documents, and policy frameworks.
• Handle complex employee relations, disciplinary matters, and restructuring.
• Advise leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and performance.
• Develop Employee Handbooks and accountability frameworks.
• Support transition to strategic HRBP model within the company.
• Collaborate with leaders to cultivate a high-performance culture.
