Job summary

PT LOTTE Chemical Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance & Inventory Controller at the Merak Plant in Cilegon to monitor equipment status, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure timely materials. You will perform routine checks and coordinate with engineers to keep packaging and automation lines operating safely.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years on bagging machines, conveyors or ASRS; knowledge of inventory control and SAP or WMS is a plus; willing to be stationed onsite in Merak.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4+ years’ experience in bagging machines, conveyors, and automated warehouse systems.
• Experience with inventory control and material flow concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP & WMS is an advantage.
• Reading operational instructions and maintaining field log sheets.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Monitor and maintain records of all equipment status, inventory and orders for replacement parts / wear parts
• Perform routine checks to ensure machinery operates at optimal levels.
• Monitoring equipment performance and coordinating with maintenance to resolve issues
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimise equipment utilisation.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and usage
• Manage inbound and outbound and update incoming support materials
• Ensure receiving and issuing material as per standard, including GR creation
• Conduct stocktakes periodically for support materials
• Carry out daily tasks and work priorities as instructed by the superior or engineer
• Follow all safety Policy and procedures, use required PPE, and maintain safe operation around moving equipment and automated systems as per HSE regulation.
• Perform daily machine inspections and report any abnormalities or alarms to the engineer and maintenance.
• Collaborate with bagging operational teams to control packaging usage according to schedule.

JOB REQUIRMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university with a minimum of 4 years' experience in bagging machines, conveyors, automated warehouse (ASRS) systems and Inventory contol
• Basic of bagging machinery (Preferably in polymer or polypropylene), weight checkers, sealing units, printing systems, and troubleshooting basic abnormalities
• Knowledge of automated warehouse flow including pallet conveyors, stacker cranes, HMI operation
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, Product/material location concept, and basic stock movement flow
• Familiar with daily reporting (Ms Office is a must)
• Ability to read operational instructions and field log sheets
• Good integrity, initiative and team work ability
• Experience with the SAP & WMS programme is an advantage
• Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon).
