Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Experience managing suppliers from Mandarin-speaking regions (export/import).
• Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identify and develop relationships with key suppliers, especially Mandarin-speaking regions; evaluate performance.
• Negotiation: Secure favorable terms including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Sourcing: Support sourcing of automotive parts and materials from local and international suppliers.
• Order Management: Oversee processing of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct market research to find cost reduction opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, ethics, and laws.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with production, quality assurance, and logistics to resolve procurement issues.
