Job summary

Ayana Hospitality in Jakarta seeks an experienced Audio-Visual supervisor to lead AV operations across hotel ballrooms and conference spaces. You will manage installation, maintenance, and technical support for events, ensuring flawless presentation quality.

The role requires 5+ years in hospitality AV, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise with professional audio and video systems, including Dante networking, projection, LED displays, and live streaming.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma/degree in AV or a related technical field.
• English proficiency preferred for coordination and communication.
• Hospitality experience in 5-star/4-star hotels or similar environments.
• 5+ years in AV operations, maintenance, or event production with leadership experience.
• Experience managing ballroom, meeting rooms, conferences, banquets, and event AV systems.
• Knowledge of professional audio systems (mixers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, DSP, and signal distribution).
• Projection systems, LED displays, video walls, signage, TVs, and video distribution knowledge.
• AV system integration, signal flow, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Dante, AV networking and Audio-over-IP technologies.
• Event production, video conferencing, recording, live streaming, presentation, and lighting systems.
• Preventive maintenance, asset management, spare parts control, and lifecycle planning.
• Vendor coordination, project management, budgeting, procurement, and CAPEX considerations.
• Electrical safety, grounding, cable management, risk assessment, working at height, and safe installations.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Job description

• Diploma 3/4 or College/University Degree in Audio-Visual, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Good command of spoken and written English is preferred.
• Previous experience in a 5-star/4-star hotel, resort, convention center, or similar hospitality environment
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Audio Visual operations, maintenance, event production, or related technical functions, including previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Previous experience in managing hotel ballroom, meeting room, conference, banquet, and event AV systems is highly preferred.
• Professional audio systems, including mixers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, DSP, processors, and signal distribution
• Projection systems, LED screens, video walls, displays, digital signage, TVs, and video distribution.
• AV system integration, signal flow, system configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
