Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Operations Lead to manage hotel ballroom, conference and event AV systems, ensuring seamless production quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in AV operations, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and networking technologies such as Dante and AV over IP.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in AV, electronics, electrical, multimedia, IT or related field.
• Excellent English (spoken and written) preferred.
• Experience in hotel/hospitality AV environments is required.
• Minimum 5 years in AV operations, maintenance, event production or related roles, with supervisory experience.
• Experience managing ballroom, meeting rooms, conferences, banquets and event AV systems is highly preferred.
• Proficient with professional audio systems, mixers, amps, speakers, mics, DSPs and signal distribution.
• Knowledge of projection systems, LED displays, video walls, digital signage and video distribution.
• AV system integration, fault-finding, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Dante, AV networking, Audio-over-IP and digital AV systems knowledge.
• Event production, video conferencing, recording, live streaming, lighting and presentation systems.
• Preventive maintenance, asset management, spare parts, lifecycle planning.
• Vendor coordination, project management, budgeting, CAPEX planning, procurement and cost control.
• Electrical safety, grounding, cable management, risk assessment and safe installations.

• Diploma 3/4 or College/University Degree in Audio-Visual, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Good command of spoken and written English is preferred
• Previous experience in a 5-star/4-star hotel, resort, convention center, or similar hospitality environment
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Audio Visual operations, maintenance, event production, or related technical functions, including previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position
• Previous experience in managing hotel ballroom, meeting room, conference, banquet, and event AV systems is highly preferred
• Professional audio systems, including mixers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, DSP, processors, and signal distribution
• Projection systems, LED screens, video walls, displays, digital signage, TVs, and video distribution
