Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking an Assistant Head of Serology to support the Serology Section Head in managing HI and ELISA testing for poultry health surveillance and disease control.

You will supervise technicians, ensure quality control and biosafety, maintain laboratory equipment, assist in method development, analyze data, and help implement ISO/IEC 17025-2017 within the serology section.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine with exposure to serology testing.
• Proven experience with ELISA, HI, AGPT and related assays.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 or similar quality systems is preferred.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Head of Serology will support the Serology Section Head in managing and overseeing serological (HI & ELISA) testing operations within PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, ensuring accurate and timely results for disease surveillance and control in poultry health.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of in planning, organizing, and directing daily serology laboratory activities.
• Supervise and train junior laboratory technicians on serological testing procedures, including ELISA, agglutination, and other relevant assays.
• Ensure adherence to established laboratory protocols, quality control standards, and biosafety guidelines.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functioning.
• Participate in the development and validation of new serological testing methods and improve existing ones.
• Analyze and interpret serological data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage inventory of reagents, consumables, and laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a robust Quality Management System (ISO/IEC 17025-2017) within the serology section.
• Assist in research and development initiatives related to animal health diagnostics.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and data management for all serological tests performed.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine (S-1), Fresh graduate
• Proven experience with various serological techniques, including ELISA, HI, AGPT, and other relevant assays, mycotoxin test
• Strong understanding of laboratory quality control and assurance principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor a team of laboratory technicians.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant biosafety regulations and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
