Job summary

Japfa is seeking a laboratory supervisor to oversee animal health diagnostic lab activities in Indonesia. The role emphasizes coordinating daily testing operations, ensuring quality and biosafety compliance, and supporting veterinary teams with timely diagnostic results.

You will supervise workflows, maintain documentation, and assist with equipment, reagents, and inventory while ensuring testing accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate daily testing and result reporting
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inventory management

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and supervision of animal health diagnostic laboratory activities.
• Coordinate daily testing operations and ensure timely diagnostic results.
• Supervise laboratory workflows to maintain accuracy, quality, and turnaround times.
• Ensure compliance with biosafety, quality management, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Veterinary and Animal Health teams for disease surveillance and outbreak investigations.
• Monitor lab performance metrics and address operational issues.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to laboratory technicians and staff.

Job description

Support the execution and supervision of animal health diagnostic laboratory activities. The role focuses on coordinating daily testing operations, ensuring quality and biosafety compliance, and supporting veterinary and animal health teams with timely and reliable diagnostic results. Support daily laboratory operations, including diagnostic testing, sample handling, and result reporting. Supervise laboratory workflows to ensure accuracy, quality, and turnaround time standards are met. Ensure compliance with biosafety, quality management, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Veterinary and Animal Health teams to support disease surveillance and outbreak investigations. Monitor laboratory performance metrics and address operational issues. Support maintenance of laboratory equipment, reagents, and inventory. Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and reports. Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to laboratory technicians and staff.
