Job summary

Nalco, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Associate District Representative to join the Nalco Water team. You will manage customer relationships, support sales, and deliver value through hands-on service and technical project execution in water treatment applications across diverse industries.

You will collaborate with Sales Representatives, perform plant surveys, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize client operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience (Fresh Graduate is welcome).
• Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industries preferred.
• Willing to be placed across Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans.
• Partner with Sales Representatives on plant surveys of prospective customers and start-ups of new applications in existing and new accounts.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in strategic accounts supported.
• Provide technical support to customers, identify and resolve pain points, and escape as needed.
• Perform system analysis, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to ensure customer operations operate optimally.
• Support services including sample testing, light maintenance, service report generation using digital platforms, chemical ordering, and inventory management.
• Utilize digital tools to generate service reports and provide analysis aimed at water quality improvement.
• Continuously adopt a beginner’s mindset to learn and approach problems with agility, taking initiative to simplify and improve processes.
• Work collaboratively as a team player and maintain organized work practices.
• Follow Ecolab safety and incident reporting guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
• At least 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience (Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply)
• Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industries preferred
• Knowledge of cooling towers and wastewater treatment systems is advantageous
• Ability to sell value-added products and work confidently with large national and multinational customers
• IT-savvy with strong mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrated learning agility and the ability to adopt a beginner’s mindset in problem-solving
• Proactive in taking initiatives to simplify, improve processes, and work efficiently using digital platforms
• Strong team player with organized attributes and excellent communication skills
• Willing to be place in across Indonesia
