Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking an Associate Director for the Upstream Consulting practice in Jakarta. You will lead end-to-end upstream energy engagements, guiding scoping, delivery, and client satisfaction while addressing complex industry challenges.

You'll drive growth through proposals and thought leadership, mentor junior staff, and apply advanced analytics, including AI and dashboards, to deliver innovative solutions and reusable IP across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas with project management or management consulting in upstream energy.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects and managing client relationships.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, R) or similar platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead upstream energy consulting engagements from scoping to delivery.
• Drive business development, scope new opportunities, and support revenue expansion.
• Manage cross-functional project teams and timelines.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration and excellence.
• Apply advanced analytics, GenAI, and dashboards to enhance project outcomes.
• Develop reusable methodologies and IP across projects.
