Job summary
S&P Global Energy in Jakarta is seeking an Associate Director to lead upstream energy consulting engagements, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth through proposals and thought leadership.
The role requires strong analytics skills, experience with Power BI/Tableau, and the ability to mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality solutions using GenAI and data-driven methods in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in oil & gas with project management or upstream consulting
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects and manage client relationships
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with analytics/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, R)
- Strong stakeholder management in fast-paced environments
- Strategic thinking with analytical rigor
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with Databricks or Snowflake
- Track record of developing innovative technology-enabled solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead upstream energy consulting engagements from scoping through execution
- Drive business development and growth through proposals and thought leadership
- Manage cross-functional project teams and coordinate resources
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Apply advanced analytics and AI capabilities to projects
- Build reusable IP and methodologies for client solutions
