Job summary

Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto, part of Accor, is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager - Government Segment to develop and expand opportunities within government and public sector markets in Jakarta. You will build strategic relationships with ministries, agencies, BUMN, and related bodies to maximize room revenue, meetings, and events.

You will support the Director of Sales and Assistant Director in implementing strategies, tracking market trends, and ensuring excellent client relationship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hotel sales experience, preferably Government/Public Sector accounts.
• Experience managing government ministries, agencies, BUMN, and institutional accounts preferred.
• Strong understanding of government procurement procedures and tender processes.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hotel sales systems or CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and expand government-sector opportunities for the hotel.

Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager - Government Segment is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the hotel's business opportunities within the government and public sector markets. This position focuses on building strategic relationships with government ministries, institutions, agencies, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and other related organizations to maximize room revenue, meetings, conferences, banquets, and other hotel business opportunities.

The position also supports the Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales in implementing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, monitoring market trends, and ensuring excellent client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably handling Government or Public Sector accounts.

• Previous experience in managing government ministries, agencies, BUMN, and institutional accounts is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of government procurement procedures and tender processes.

• Strong knowledge of the Jakarta government and corporate business market.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hotel sales systems or CRM platforms.
