Job summary

smoore technology indonesia is seeking a senior engineer/manager to lead automation equipment introduction, maintenance and process optimization across manufacturing lines. You will drive OEE improvements, throughput, and product quality while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive experience in automation, lean practices, and strategic planning, with a track record of leading engineering initiatives in large manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Electronics, Electromechanical, or related majors.
• More than 10 years of work experience in automobiles, mobile phones, or consumer electronics.
• Experience in large foreign companies preferred.
• More than 5 years of management experience.
• More than 4 years of experience in automation equipment introduction & maintenance.
• 2D/3D design software certification (ProEng/Creo, AutoCAD) if any.
• Certification in Automation / Industry 4.0 (preferred).
• Strategic layout & planning capability.
• Leadership & team management ability.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 & intelligent manufacturing.
• Communication & cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for introduction, management and maintenance of automation equipment to optimize OEE and UPH.
• Lead production process optimization to improve efficiency and product quality while reducing costs.
• Oversee process, equipment, materials, PE, IE to ensure product readiness and technical compliance.
• Maintain facilities for smooth operations in partner factories.
• Develop the Engineering Organization to support production goals.
• Implement health, safety, and waste management policies in line with regulations.

Job description

• Responsible for the introduction, management and maintenance of automation equipment, solve equipment bottlenecks, and OEE and UPH in advance
• Responsible for product production process and technical efficiency optimization management, improve product production efficiency and product quality, and reduce costs through lean production
• Responsible for the work of process, equipment, engineering materials, PE, IE, to ensure that the product is put into production and meets the technical requirements of the product
• Maintenance and supervision of facilities for normal operation of supporting factorie
• Developing the Engineering Organization
• Implement policies related to employee health and safety programs that comply with applicable regulations and standards.
• Implement policies related to waste management programs that comply with applicable regulations and standards.
