Job summary

Minor Vacation Club Legian Bali is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee the Engineering Department's daily operations and ensure reliable maintenance of hotel facilities and systems. You will supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, support projects, and assist in budget control and asset management.

The role requires 3-5 years in hospitality engineering, strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, Fire & Life Safety, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Fire & Life Safety system, generator, pump, and water treatment systems.
• Experienced in preventive maintenance planning, asset management, and project coordination.
• Good understanding of local government regulations, occupational health & safety standard, and resort/hotel compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department and ensure efficient maintenance of hotel facilities and systems.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, engineering projects, and team performance.
• Support budget control, asset management, and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare operational and maintenance reports for hotel management and corporate engineering teams.

The Assistant Chief Engineer also prepares operational and maintenance reports for hotel management and corporate engineering teams, ensuring compliance with brand standards and organizational objectives.
