Job summary

Holiday Villa Kuta Bali is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the property's engineering and operations. You will supervise maintenance across buildings, landscapes, vehicles, and offices to ensure all systems run efficiently.

Collaborate with architects and management on upgrades and project works, ensuring cost-effectiveness and technical efficiency. You will oversee external contractors and uphold quality assurance through MANJA.

Responsibilities

• Advise the General Manager and Management on engineering support and operational efficiency of the property.
• Manage maintenance activities for upkeep of buildings, landscapes, vehicles, offices and related facilities; ensure all mechanical and electrical systems are in good working condition through efficient maintenance programmes.
• Promote staff awareness of energy management and cost-effective operation of equipment.
• Maintain physical assets by upgrading and coordinating with architects, interior designers and management.
• Ensure cost effectiveness and technical efficiency of services performed by outside contractors with close supervision, within contracts, leases and warranties.
• Contribute to a high standard of quality control through the hotel quality assurance programme (MANJA).

Key Responsibilities

• To advise the General Manager and the Management on all aspects of engineering support and operational efficiency of the property
• Manage maintenance activities for the upkeep of buildings, landscapes, vehicles, and offices and related building facilities ensure all mechanical and electrical machineries are in good working conditions through the implementation of efficient maintenance programmes
• To ensure staff awareness of energy management and matters related to efficient operation of equipment in a cost-effective manner
• To maintain physical assets of hotel by carrying out any upgrading and project works in liaison with architects, interior designers and management
• To ensure the cost effectiveness and technical efficiency of all services performed by outside contractors with close supervision. Ensure that all work are carried out in accordance with contracts, leases, service agreements and warranties
• To contribute to a high standard of quality control within the hotel by actively participating in hotel quality assurance programme (MANJA).
