Job summary

AYANA Hospitality in Komodo seeks an experienced Engineering Supervisor to plan and oversee daily engineering operations, supervise staff, and ensure optimal team performance. You will inspect, maintain, and repair hotel systems including HVAC, kitchen, laundry, and plumbing to ensure safe, efficient guest service.

Lead, manage and develop engineering staff with strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities while ensuring safety and operational continuity during all shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year as Engineering Supervisor at a 5-star hotel.
• Professional and service-oriented with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily engineering operations and supervise staff.
• Inspect, maintain and repair hotel systems and equipment (kitchen, laundry, HVAC, mechanical, piping, plumbing).
• Monitor equipment condition, report defects, and maintain maintenance records and log books.

Inspect, maintain, and repair hotel systems and equipment (kitchen, laundry, HVAC, mechanical, piping, and plumbing) to ensure safe and efficient operation

Monitor and control equipment condition and material usage, reporting defects promptly and maintaining accurate maintenance records and log books

Lead, manage, and develop engineering staff, ensuring punctual attendance, proper appearance, effective teamwork, and participation in training programs

Ensure workplace safety and operational continuity, responding immediately to system defects to prevent guest complaints and service interruptions

Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Having minimal 1 year as an Engineering Supervisor at 5 star Hotel

Strong technical and leadership capabilities, with solid engineering knowledge (Electrical, Kitchen & Laundry equipment, HVAC, preventive maintenance), proven team management skills, and effective planning and problem-solving abilities.

Professional and service-oriented, demonstrating excellent communication, attention to detail, positive attitude, proper grooming, flexibility, and the ability to perform well under pressure while delivering high-quality customer service.
