Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• 2 years of experience as Chief Engineering in a 5-star hotel or equivalent role in a large property.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering Department to ensure efficient daily operations, preventive maintenance, and emergency responsiveness.
• Oversee annual budgeting, monitor costs, and control expenses related to maintenance, utilities, and projects.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise repair work across the property.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations, including training team members.
• Monitor and reduce energy and water consumption through operational initiatives and equipment optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and strong leadership skills, able to effectively manage a team of engineers and maintenance professionals.

• Oversee annual budgeting, monitor POMEC costs, and control expenses related to maintenance, utilities, and projects while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise both internal and external repair work across the property.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations, including training team members on related procedures.
• Monitor and reduce energy and water consumption annually through operational initiatives and equipment optimization.
