Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

About the role

This is a strategic position within our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations, where you will take overall responsibility for managing our company's asset portfolio. As Asset Management Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimising asset utilisation, minimising depreciation, and ensuring all assets are maintained to the highest standards. This role reports directly to senior management and is essential to our operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive asset management policies and procedures to maximise asset lifecycle value and minimise costs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset registers, including acquisition, valuation, depreciation and disposal records
• Conduct regular asset audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Monitor asset performance and condition, identifying opportunities for maintenance, repair or replacement
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure optimal asset purchasing decisions and vendor management
• Manage asset disposal processes, including evaluation, approval and documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements
• Analyse asset utilisation rates and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and accounting standards related to asset management and reporting
• Prepare detailed asset management reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management
• Supervise and mentor asset management staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability
• Manage all warehouse

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in asset management, preferably within manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
• Strong knowledge of asset management principles, depreciation methods and accounting standards
• Proficiency with asset management software and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
• Excellent organisational and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple assets and projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational processes
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and asset reporting requirements is advantageous
• Certification in asset management, accounting or related field is an added value
