Job summary

Electrum in Indonesia is seeking an Asset & Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of inventory, fixed assets, COGS, and the general ledger.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience in inventory/asset accounting, ERP implementation exposure, and strong English communication. You will collaborate across departments and support external audits.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 4-5 years of experience in inventory and asset accounting.
• Experience in ERP implementation.
• Past startup experience preferable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication in English both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely closing for Inventory, COGS, Fixed Assets and GL entries.
• Involve in finance projects (ERP, automation, etc).
• Monitoring of the inventory and asset movement and cost of the inventories.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal, Ops to provide insights related the inventories and assets in business operations.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks from the FAT Manager and Corporate Finance Team.
• Liaise with external auditors and assist external audit teams to ensure efficient and timely audits.

About The Role
We are looking for an Asset & Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of the Company's inventory, fixed assets, COGS, and general ledger.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation closing, including for Inventory, COGS, Fixed Assets and general ledger entries
• Involve in the finance project (eg. ERP, automation, etc)
• Monitoring of the inventory and asset movement and cost of the inventories
• Work closely with other departments (Finance, Legal, Ops, etc.) to provide insights related the inventories and assets in business operations
• Assist with ad hoc tasks from the FAT Manager and Corporate Finance Team
• Liaise with external auditors and assisting external audit teams to ensure efficient and timely audits, including replying auditors' questions.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor's degree in Accounting (S1) from reputable university
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in inventory and asset accountant.
• Experience in ERP implementation.
• Past experiences in a start-up or similar environment are preferable
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication in English both verbal and written.
