Job summary

Electrum is seeking an Asset & Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team. You will ensure accurate reporting of inventory, fixed assets, COGS, and general ledger entries, supporting timely month-end closes.

You have 4–5 years of inventory and asset accounting experience, with ERP implementation exposure. Strong Excel and accounting software skills, plus solid communication in English, will help you collaborate across Finance, Legal, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 4–5 years of experience in inventory and asset accounting.
• Experience in ERP implementation and startup-like environments.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory, COGS, fixed assets, and GL entries accurately and on time.
• Support ERP projects and process automation.
• Monitor inventory movement and asset costs.
• Liaise with auditors and support external audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Ops to provide insights.
• Assist FAT Manager and Corporate Finance as needed.

About The Role

We are looking for an Asset & Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of the Company’s inventory, fixed assets, COGS, and general ledger.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation closing, including for Inventory, COGS, Fixed Assets and general ledger entries.
2. Involve in the finance project (eg. ERP, automation, etc).
3. Monitoring of the inventory and asset movement and cost of the inventories.
4. Work closely with other departments (Finance, Legal, Ops, etc.) to provide insights related the inventories and assets in business operations.
5. Assist with ad hoc tasks from the FAT Manager and Corporate Finance Team.
6. Liaise with external auditors and assisting external audit teams to ensure efficient and timely audits, including replying auditors’ questions.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (S1) from reputable university.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in inventory and asset accountant.
• Experience in ERP implementation.
• Past experiences in a start-up or similar environment are preferable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication in English both verbal and written.
