Job summary

Segari, a fast-growing grocery start-up in Indonesia, seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, verify documents, and monitor payments for B2B customers. You will liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely collections.

The role offers a hybrid work model (4 days WFH, 1 day in the office weekly) and requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year in AR, Billing, or related fields; proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance, AR, Billing, or Collection.
• Experience in AR monitoring and payment collection preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and verify supporting documents, including POs and delivery orders.
• Monitor B2B customer invoice submissions and follow up on pending documents.
• Track outstanding receivables, invoice status, and payment due dates.
• Follow up on overdue payments and monitor payment commitments.
• Communicate with customers via WhatsApp, phone, or in person to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Reconcile payments against outstanding invoices and update AR records.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, submission status, overdue receivables, and collection progress using Google Sheets and internal systems.
• Report AR status, overdue payments, collection progress, and outstanding issues to the Finance team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, documentation issues, and payment delays.
• Support other Finance activities as needed.
