Application Specialist / Technical Support

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Application Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a science-driven individual with expertise in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, biology, or chemistry, who enjoys translating complex technical knowledge into practical solutions for clients.

As an Application Specialist, you will serve as a technical expert, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, R&D, and product management to deliver outstanding application support, product demonstrations, and training across a portfolio of scientific instruments or services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and consultation to customers and internal stakeholders across the biopharma, pharma, and life sciences sectors.

Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops to showcase capabilities and applications.

Collaborate with sales teams during customer visits, tenders, and technical discussions.

Analyze customer workflows and recommend appropriate solutions based on technical needs.

Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments (e.g., R&D, Product Management) for application feedback and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a laboratory, technical support, or applications role (preferably in biopharma or pharma sectors).

Strong knowledge of analytical techniques or relevant biotech tools and workflows.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Willingness to travel

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in technical support or product application in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GLP, ICH).

Proficiency in scientific writing and documentation.
