As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. Responsible for managing end-to-end air freight export operations, ensuring timely shipment execution, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment while maintaining high service standards.

How you create impact

• Manage end-to-end export shipment processes including operational coordination and documentation handling.
• Coordinate shipment activities from booking confirmation to completion.
• Ensure all export documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
• Liaise closely with Procurement teams for booking-related matters.
• Maintain strong working relationships with airlines for operational coordination.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of export documentation before submission.
• Submit shipment documents to the relevant internal teams on the same day.
• Ensure compliance with export customs requirements and operational procedures.
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure operational milestones are met.
• Escalate issues promptly to ensure shipment continuity.

Description

• Receive review, and process inquiry or shipping instruction from customer/sales/overseas
• Checking cargo data and CIPL for both international and domestic shipment
• Arrange Moda transportation and communication with vendor
• Direct monitoring for loading/unloading cargo for every shipment
• Ensure every loading/unloading are conducted safely and according to customer and Indonesia's law and regulations
• Provide daily report to customers and do daily monitoring with communication with vendor.
• Review import HBL (House Bill of Lading), MBL (Master Bill of Lading) & CIPL (Commercial Invoice & Packing List Docs) from origin office
• Coordinating with airlines, managing AWB (Air Waybill), export/import clearance with airport customs
• Booking with shipping lines, managing SI/SO, VGM submission, port coordination
• Coordination with domestic trucking providers, waybill (Surat Jalan), GPS tracking, POD collection
• Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery.
• Submitting manifest in CEISA
• Coordination with Customs Clearance Department for PEB/ PIB
• Provide accounting department with proper and correct billing information.
• Communicate with clients regarding disposition of Freight (i.e. tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations).
• Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
• Communicate & correspond with other Company branches and agents for client satisfaction, and ensure excellent service execution.
• Seek the most profitable mode of shipment, yet meet client's requirement for the movement of freight.
• Sending original invoice and supporting documents to customers.
• Help implement Quality, Health, Safety and Environment objectives set up specific for the branch and its operational basis.
