Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a skilled pre-sales engineer to work with enterprise clients in the BytePlus team. You will qualify leads, translate technical capabilities into business value, and lead demos, architecture sessions, and hands-on POCs to convert potential opportunities into contracts.

You will collaborate with Solution, Product, Strategy and R&D teams to shape regional product roadmaps, build scalable POCs, and present to executive stakeholders to raise ByteDance B2B brand presence in APAC.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher required.
• 3+ years in solution engineering, IT solution consulting or pre-sales.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities with demonstrated projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales to qualify leads and translate tech into business solutions.
• Lead qualification through demos, presentations, architecture design sessions & workshops.
• Manage RFPs/RFIs/POCs and convert POCs into contracts.
• Act as trusted advisor and share industry knowledge across ByteDance B2B offerings.
• Collaborate with Solution, Product, Strategy and R&D to influence regional roadmaps.
• Develop tools and processes to scale technical POCs.
• Present to C-Suite and stakeholders to raise brand awareness across APAC.
• Upsell and drive adoption of ByteDance solutions for existing customers.
