English is used for financial reporting unless Chinese proficiency allows relaxing English requirements.
The role requires 3+ years in cost accounting, a bachelor’s in accounting, and SAP experience. On-site work and local manufacturing exposure are preferred.

2. Maintain master data related to cost accounting (materials, BOMs, processes, cost centers, etc.), monitor cost accumulation, allocation, and distribution logic in SAP, and promptly identify and resolve cost anomalies.
3. Complete monthly cost closing procedures, prepare cost reports, unit product cost analyses, and manufacturing overhead analyses; identify reasons for cost fluctuations and provide cost improvement recommendations to management.
4. Reconcile material issuance, finished goods receipt, scrap losses, and outsourcing accounting entries; track work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure accurate financial recording of production activities.
5. Regularly analyze cost variances (material, work order, and expense variances), and produce variance analysis reports.
6. Perform other finance-related tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a cost accountant in manufacturing; candidates with on‑site factory cost accounting experience are preferred; local Indonesian manufacturing experience is a plus.
3. Language proficiency—choose one:
Proficient in Chinese: English requirements may be relaxed; basic understanding of English financial reports is sufficient.
Not proficient in Chinese: English must be used as the working language; able to independently conduct email communication and read financial reports in English.
4. Familiarity with inventory accounting and production cost allocation methods; understanding of manufacturing business processes such as BOMs, work orders, WIP, and scrap handling.
5. Knowledge of Indonesian accounting and tax regulations (e.g., PSAK standards, Faktur Pajak) is preferred; experience with SAP financial software is a plus.
