Job summary

Apical is seeking a Finance professional to join our Cost Accounting team in North Jakarta. The role focuses on cost reporting, inventory control, asset management, and working with SAP to ensure accurate records and financial data.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, commodity, or industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgeting.
• Hands-on SAP experience and solid Excel skills.
• Experience with month-end closing and asset management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly costing and processing cost reports.
• Monitor cost performance, COGS, standard costing, and cost allocation.
• Track inventory movements, aging, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Support stock counts, inventory verification, and SAP-based inventory accounting.
• Manage fixed asset records, capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Monitor AUC and Capex spending; prepare asset and Capex reports.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

Job description

• Prepare and analyze monthly costing and processing cost reports, including actual vs. budget variance analysis.
• Monitor cost performance, COGS, standard costing, and cost allocation, and provide insights to support cost control.
• Monitor inventory movements, aging, adjustments, and stock reconciliations, including gain/loss and variance analysis.
• Support stock counts, inventory verification, and inventory accounting to ensure accurate records in SAP.
• Manage fixed asset records and transactions, including capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Monitor Asset Under Construction (AUC) and Capex spending, and prepare periodic asset and Capex reports.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and financial reporting by preparing accurate analysis and supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial and operational data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Financial Reporting, or Manufacturing Finance.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing, FMCG, commodity, or industrial sectors is preferred.
• Good understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, fixed assets, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with good analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with month-end closing, inventory reconciliation, and Capex/fixed asset monitoring is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willing to be based in Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
