Job summary

SCARLETT Indonesia is seeking an accounting/finance professional with 1–3 years of experience to manage General Ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end closing. The role involves overseeing inventory transactions, calculating COGS, and preparing financial reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, with exposure to AP/AR and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including journal entries, GL, and financial statements.
• Familiar with inventory accounting and COGS is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work accurately under tight deadlines (especially during closing period).
• High integrity and strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining account balances, and ensuring accurate transaction recording
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and monitor cash movements
• Oversee inventory transactions, including reconciliation with warehouse data, stock opname support, and COGS calculation
• Execute month-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, adjustments) and ensure timely and accurate completion
• Prepare account reconciliations and maintain proper documentation for audit trail purposes
• Support the preparation of financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) along with relevant analysis for management
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards across all reports
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed
