Job summary

PermataBank in Jakarta is seeking an Accountant to join the Finance team. The role focuses on financial control, month-end closing, and regulatory reporting to ensure accurate data.

You will work with the General Ledger, perform reconciliations, and collaborate across units to support audits and internal decision-making. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and strong attention to detail are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks for financial control, including GL monitoring.
• Understand and execute the month-end closing process within the timeline.
• Process and submit financial reports to Regulatory Authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct reconciliations for GL accounts, analyze discrepancies, and follow up.
• Coordinate with other units in the reporting process.
• Provide data for audits and maintain organized accounting records.

Job Description:

• Perform daily accounting tasks related to financial control functions, including monitoring General Ledger (GL), identifying abnormal balances, balance sheet reconciliation, and other related activities.
• Understand and execute the month-end closing process within the specified timeline at the beginning of each month.
• Process and submit financial reports and PermataBank financial data to Regulatory Authorities and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Conduct reconciliation processes for assigned GL accounts, prepare reports, analyze discrepancies, and follow up when necessary.
• Coordinate with other units/departments in the reporting process.
• Provide financial data requests, including preparing data for internal and external audits, as well as handling other ad-hoc assignments.
• Maintain proper and well-organized administration of reports, accounting documents, and other related records.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Prior working experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) is preferred.
• Fast learner with strong attention to detail, focus, and the ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
• Proficient in handling large volumes of data using supporting applications, at minimum Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access/Query.
• Preferably has a good understanding of accounting process flows, from recording transactions to financial reporting.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to working in accordance with Accounting and Reporting standards
