Job summary

PT THE COOL in Jakarta is seeking a fast, detail-oriented Account Payable to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, record and reconcile AP transactions, monitor balances, and prepare payment requests to ensure timely payments.

The role requires 1–3 years in AP or accounting, solid understanding of Indonesian taxation including VAT and withholding tax, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Account Payable / Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting and Indonesian taxation.
• Familiar with VAT, withholding tax (PPh 21/23/4(2)), and tax invoices.
• Fast worker and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and highly accurate, especially when handling numbers and documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices, bills, and payment requests accurately and on time.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documents before payment processing.
• Record and reconcile Accounts Payable transactions.
• Monitor vendor balances, payment schedules, and outstanding invoices.
• Prepare payment requests and coordinate with internal departments and vendors.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company procedures.
• Handle and assist with tax-related matters, including withholding tax and VAT documentation.
• Support monthly closing and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and tax documents.
• Identify discrepancies or errors and resolve them promptly.
