Job summary

PT Foom Lab Global seeks a 3D & Industrial Designer to develop functional, visually appealing, and production-ready designs for compact consumer products. You will be involved from concept development and 3D modeling through prototyping and production preparation while handling all product information with confidentiality.

You will translate concepts into manufacturable designs, explore form, ergonomics, materials and finishes, and create technical drawings.

We are looking for a 3D & Industrial Designer to develop functional, visually appealing, and production ready designs for compact consumer products. This role will be involved throughout the design process from early concept development and 3D modeling to prototyping and production preparation while handling all product information with a high level of confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

Develop product concepts based on design briefs and user needs.

Create sketches, 3D models, product renderings, and detailed technical drawings.

Translate creative concepts into functional and manufacturable product designs.

Explore product form, ergonomics, dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, and assembly.

Prepare design specifications and production ready files.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.

Proven experience in 3D modeling and industrial product design.

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is required.

Experience designing compact consumer products such as toys, stationery, writing instruments, accessories, or other small products is preferred.

Strong understanding of product proportions, ergonomics, materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly.

Familiar with prototyping and design-for-manufacturing principles.

Proficiency in rendering or visualization tools such as KeyShot, Blender, or similar software is an advantage.

Able to create clear technical drawings and communicate design intent effectively.

Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing aesthetics with functionality.

Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, 3D modeling, and production-ready product design.
